This one was hard! The first panel took up some time, even though it was just to set the scene!

Anyway, seems as if Jerry the Pikachu, rescued Nuze from the river bank, and the Egg!
Only to get Nuze even more lost than before...

And is Jerry really this cold? Or is he hiding something?
Like the secret to his ears...? xDD

Actually, according to the comic I'm working on, it's because this is the time of year that his Mother passed away. She gave her life to protect him, that's the day that his ear tips became permanent.
